(Clase de Yoga)
    11 Apr 2002

Oh, the people you meet when you travel with Scott. There was a van parked at the beach with Florida plates, so Scott went to ask them if they drove the van all the way from Florida. This sparked a beautiful friendship. It turns out the couple is from Argentina and only bought the van when they were living in Florida. And no they didn't drive it they had it brought down on a boat. The van is converted into a home with a stove, sink, bed, and AC, so they can live anywhere their heart's desire. This has rekindled Scott's desire to live out of an RV. Of the couple the woman, Susanna is a yoga instructor and the man, Gustavo, makes beautiful wood signs and plays a mean guitar. We took about 4 classes with Susanna while in Quepos right on the beach. A couple times Scott camped out on the beach overnight to take a class at 6:00 in the morning. I did it only once because I wanted him to check it out first :) Well here are some pictures from our last class with Susanna. In the pictures are our friends Irena (her name in Spanish, don't know how its spelled in Dutch) and Egbert who took a couple classes with us.

This is Susanna, our instructor. Scott asked her to do a complicated pose for a picture and this is what she picked. And no we didn't have to copy her.

Amazing!
Go Egbert!

What a gorgeous view to do yoga with. The only bad thing about doing yoga on the beach is sand gets everywhere. When you put your feet over your head the sand on your feet lands in your eyes. But when I was doing this pose I had a perfect view of the sunset. I would do yoga everyday if it always had this great view. Susanna is helping Irena out with her pose. I'm takin' a break. And check out the Dutchman in front with the perfect pose.
